Zion Church is a church that loves others and loves the Lord. Our goal is to see people come to a saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To see believers grow in their walk with the Lord and go and lead others to Christ. We believe in the power of God's word and that salvation is by grace through faith in Christ and Christ alone. Zion Church is a place where God is worshiped with passion, reverence, and joy.
Statement of Faith:
The Bible is inspired, infallible and authoritative word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16)
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons; the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life and in atoning for the sins of humankind was crucified, was dead and was buried. He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the father and is interceding on behalf of all true believers.
The salvation of humankind is by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. The saved shall be resurrected unto eternal life and those who rejected the gift of salvation will be resurrected unto eternal judgement.
Biblical guidelines for human sexuality define marriage as the union of one man and one woman in holiness, fidelity and chastity outside of marriage. (Hebrews 13:4 Mark 10:6-9)
All the spiritual gifts found in the bible are active today in the unity of those dedicated to the glory of the Lord.
Our Pastor
Larry Campbell was called to pastor Zion Church in May of 2013. In addition to his over thirty years of experience as a Decon and Pastor, Larry is also the Chaplain of the Kentucky Speedway.
